Part of YMCA Metro's renovation efforts, this 20-year old urban wellness center is undergoing an interior and exterior overhaul. New aerobics rooms with elevated wood floors, added offices and conference rooms, teen center, complete lobby teardown and new entry atrium addition. Extensive plumbing and heating-ventilation rework including swimming pool and spas. Decorative tile designs, angled walls, soffits and lighting. All operations ongoing during construction. Cost: $2.1-2.5 Million, Completed: September 2004
